This Just In...

It gets hot in Phoenix in the Summer:

Fire crews on Monday morning came to the aid of a man in his 60s who passed out while hiking Camelback Mountain.

Members of the Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe fire departments located the man about two-thirds up the mountain on Echo Canyon trail, near 6101 East Cholla Lane in Paradise Valley, shortly after 10 a.m.


They hydrated the man, who had little or no water with him. He also complained of shortness of breath, said Capt. Shelly Jamison of the Once the man's condition was stabilized, firefighters expected to remove him from the mountain on foot or via helicopter.
